About Course

This course provides a hands-on introduction to robotic cell creation and programming using the
DELMIA Robotics suite within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Learners will build a complete
virtual twin of a robotic station, program robotic tasks, and simulate industrial scenarios fully
offline.

Introduction to Robotics Programming in Industry
Objective: Understand the real-world challenges and goals of robotic programming. • Learning Outcome: Articulate the role of virtual twins and offline programming in modern industry.

Platform Orientation and Environment Setup
Objective: Get familiar with the 3DEXPERIENCE interface and prepare the project workspace. Learning Outcome: Navigate and customize the platform for robotics design and simulation.

Robotic Cell Layout Design
Objective: Design the physical layout of a robotic line/cell using Plant Layout Design tools. • Learning Outcome: Build a realistic plant layout for complex robot simulations.

Equipment Design and Kinematics
Objective: Design and configure equipment components for simulation. Learning Outcome: Design mechanical devices and define behaviors for simulation.

Robot Controller and Motion Group Setup
Objective: Connect devices and configure robot controller logic. Learning Outcome: Build logical control structures for robot coordination.

Robot Trajectory Design
Objective: Define motion paths for the robot using simulation tools. Learning Outcome: Generate precise robot trajectories for defined tasks.

Robot Task Simulation and IO Control
Objective: Simulate and control robotic tasks using inputs and outputs. • Learning Outcome: Execute full robotic simulations with coordinated devices and control logic.

Offline Robot Programming (OLP)
Objective: Convert virtual robot tasks into real-world robot programs. Learning Outcome: Generate deployable robot code for physical implementation.
